User Problems

"I'm not a developer, so using these snapshot tools feels like stepping into a command line."

"I tried setting wallet filters, but I had no clue what half the options meant. There's no explanation."

"When I finally got the snapshot, the export was a mess. I had to clean it up manually just to use it in my airdrop script."

"Why do I have to paste contract addresses manually every single time?"

"The interface looks like it was built for engineers. It's intimidating, cluttered, and doesn't guide me at all."

"I manage multiple collections, and it's so frustrating that I have to take individual snapshots one by one."

03

Solutions

  • Designed a simplified user interface that removes technical complexity and guides users through the snapshot process with ease.

  • Implemented a visual selector for trending NFT collections, enabling quick selection and reducing manual input.

  • Integrated intuitive tooltips and simplified filter options to clarify each step and minimize user confusion.

  • Enabled one-click snapshots with clean, ready-to-use export formats including Hashlist and Holderlist.

  • Added functionality to support multiple NFT collections in a single snapshot, streamlining the workflow.

  • Focused on a dark, minimal aesthetic and well-structured input flow to ensure usability even for first-time users.

Design Process

Week 1

Research

Conducted deep market research and reviewed competitor tools like Premint and Galxe. Collected direct user feedback from project creators who struggled with snapshot exports and airdrop configurations.

Week 2

User Flow Mapping

Mapped out streamlined user flows to reduce confusion and minimize manual steps. Key tasks like selecting collections, applying filters, and exporting snapshot data were broken into intuitive steps.

Week 3

Wireframing

Created mid-fidelity wireframes for all key screens — token snapshot, NFT holder view, multiplier input, export modals, and airdrop allocation tables.

Week 4

UI Design

Designed a lightweight, minimal UI with a clean dark theme, sharp iconography, and compact input areas. Prioritized utility over visual noise with helpful tooltips and clear labels.

05

Results

After implementing the end-to-end design, users were able to perform complex snapshot and airdrop tasks without any technical barriers, leading to faster onboarding, smoother execution, and overwhelmingly positive feedback.

"This was a game-changer for us. The snapshot and airdrop tools were designed with a deep understanding of our users' pain points. The intuitive UI, clean flow, and no-code functionality brought real utility to our platform. We've seen a noticeable increase in user engagement."
